One of the most famous Balinese Dances is The Kecak dance. The stunning voice of the dancers in musical rhythm is used as a background for them to dance in trance. Over 100 bare-chested dancers are swaying their body and hands. The sound of cak-cak-cak imitating the sound of monkey sounds gives the exotic and dynamic ambience. Because of that chanting noise of “Cak-cak-cak”, then the dance is named Kecak.

Phuket Thailand has many attractions one can discover either on day trips or longer. The Beaches are by far the biggest attraction to Phuket because it has many beaches for one to explore. You can keep yourself busy all year round with the many attractions in Phuket other than just the beaches however.
Taking day trips can be a lot of fun. I have rented long tail boat and gone to the many different islands that are about thirty minute boat rides from the many different piers on island. It’s not hard to find a long tail boat as even many of the beaches have them lined up just off shore. A day trip is very inexpensive and will remind you of a time when life was simple and uncomplicated.
When going away on holiday you may be going to somewhere completely new and different from your usual day to day life. There are new dangers and risks whether it’s the beaches of Spain or the Rainforests of the Amazon, there are many things that you may take for granted but in reality are extremely costly.
One example is the typical family holiday to Florida, water parks and theme parks are everywhere but if you or a family member were to hurt themselves and need an air ambulance back to the UK then it would cost £35,000. Obviously no one can afford these expenses hence the necessity of travel insurance.
What to do for the family holidays? If you are anything like me this question crops up many times a year and I am always at a loss. Whether it is a free weekend, a bank holiday, Easter or the long summer, you need something to entertain the kids.
I have always been a fan of holidays in England, or even better, holidays in Wales. Sometimes the last thing you want to do when you have very small children is to go through the hassle of dealing with the airport to get to some resort in another country, especially when you have no way of even knowing what it is going to be like when you get there.
Mount Kenya is Africa’s second highest mountain, after Kilimanjaro. It is estimated to be 2.5 million years old, and Kilimanjaro at 750,00 years of age is really an upstart. Time has really taken its toll, and the peak is thought to have dropped from 6,500 m those millions of years ago to 5,199 m today. The mountain is an extinct volcano, whose plug forms what is today the peak area. The crater was long ago, done to death, by nature’s untiring erosion agents.
Our Victorian forefathers would not have understood the meaning of Father’s Day, because it wasn’t until 1908 that the first Fathers Day commemoration took place.
I choose the word commemoration rather than celebration, as this first Father’s Day occurred on 5th July 1908 as a memorial service for 361 men killed in the Monongah, West Virginia, mine disaster on 7th December the previous year. The disaster left over 250 widows and 1,000 orphans and a service for the departed fathers was held at the Williams Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church South.

Why, how and when did you choose to be an English language teacher?
